the need to make things beautiful ... that's me. from my previous profession as a beauty educator to a photographer... the desire to make all things beautiful never cease. bringing out the positive emotive beauty in everything ...
i have a strong penchant for selective focus and beautiful bokeh. all my work were done with a specific leading gaze to where i want your eyes to be. i sometimes tend to take time to compose each frame that is because i am thorough and detail oriented. on the whole, i want to speak my type of photography language that is soft, romantic, serene, filled with grace; played with light... to showcase a stream of beautiful images that are made up of what i see through simplicity, goodness and kindness; to tell my story on what i felt as nice and beautiful.
perhaps you can tell from the way i use my typography ... i use lowercase a lot on my sentences ...i'm just a simple sentimentalist with a quiet vision. some people comment that i photograph rather quietly too ...hmm. my style may not be for everyone but if it resonates with you ... i'd love to sit and chat with you over a cup of tea.
i am a wife/a mother first and photographer second. i love my family and photography passionately. born in the city state of concrete jungle in singapore and currently resides in the peach city of georgia in the united states, so here i am giving my best.
but... the best gift given to me, is the gift of life from Jesus. i am a child of God, born somewhat wild and free and filled with hope.
* the oak tree was inspired from the book of Isaiah in the chapter of 61 verses 1 to 3... hence oak tree shutterbug. we are called to display God's glory... His oaks of righteousness.
