this session will most likely stayed on me for a while ...

Jeffery and Melissa booked an engagement photoshoot with me, and everything was pretty much set on a friday evening photo session.
given GA weather is pretty unpredictable, it rained on and off while we were at location.
Stopping for rain was not fun as light was diminishing right before my eyes!

towards the end, the golden hour was gone and i have to be creative with some shots. the bad part was i didn't get to the other location that we had previously discussed. so i proposed to Melissa that we do the second part of the photoshoot the very next morning by a river.

ok, set.

i got to the second location early to check the place out. noticed fast rapid water - okay... not going in to the water today...
okay... can't go to the flat rock surfaces as it wasn't visible at all due to the heavy rain we had.
okay... ...

Melissa called, said they were delayed because of traffic hiccup so they were forced to make a detour.
no problememo ...
by the time Jeffery and Melissa arrived, it was getting a little humid, both Jeffery and I were both sweating beads hahah.
GA weather - pretty much like Singapore's haha - hot and humid.

about 45 mins into photographing time, we took quite a lot of pictures ( i promised them an hour tops as they were also trying to get to another location for a special wedding "thingy" - i don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet! ) and as i was posing them on a nearby bench facing the river...i noticed 2 men in the river. being my goofy self, i yelled, "hi...!!!!!!!" and waved ...
then i noticed that it was strange that both men were in the river outside their kayaks...i mean shouldn't they be IN the kayaks??
within split seconds, i realised their kayaks were capsized and they were hanging on to their dear lives struggling in fast rapid waters with one remaining kayak!

we had to stop our session immediately and Jeffery had to call 911 for help!
we were all so worried, especially Melissa, she was in tears!
we screamed to the 2 men, "hang on! 911 is on the way!".
we prayed and ask God to save these men!

fire truck came, police came. the rescuers were pretty deft and went straight for the rescue.
then we heard the policeman said those precious words, "yup! they are SAVED!".

OH! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! our hearts were extremely relieved to hear that both men were saved!
i kept thinking... God has a purpose for everything!
had the weather been nice the night before, we would have kept on with the photoshoot, i may have finish my session and went home happy.
BUT... God has other plans...
i am so thankful that we were there by the river ... at the right place, at the right time.

i was there to deliver my service to Jeffery and Melissa - to celebrate their love.
but i believed God had given all three of us a straight view of His miraculous love through this event.
