was invited to take photos at the practicing with the pro camp this afternoon...
it was an encouraging event as it was geared towards building strong integrity and self-respect for the young men.
these footballers had been through some in life, and now they are coming together with the desire to help children and young teens to have positive attitudes towards society and life ... to stay positively strong and say no to drugs ... be a hard worker; be responsible and to have respect for themselves and others.
previous participants have grown and went on to military careers and other great things!
what a marvelous group !
7 The right-living act with integrity;
the children who follow their example are happy.
i have been toying around with the idea of playing with steel wool for a very long time since i started photography like 3 years ago.
i researched and read all the articles and looked for inspirations.
there was a chance last year that i could do a steel wool shoot with my friends when i visited her but alas time was too short, and we couldn't make it and boy was i and my friend disappointed so i waited...
and waited... and finally earlier this year, i offered the idea up to my photography club and WE MADE IT HAPPENED!
oh boy i was excited.
since then, I made it a point to keep a look out for location to do another :)
p.s: thought i...erm... add 2 shots of sparklers :D
love going to reenactments. each year i geared myself to go for at least 2 reenactments and in spring this year i had already been to 2.
i love spending time and talking to the re-enactors asking them how they got into the reenactments, and they have the most interesting stories to tell.
learnt some interesting facts, got asked to be a part of the reenactment - i had fun each year !
